Most Influential Multidisciplinary Artists & Innovators in 2025

Mihaela Pleșca: Revolutionizing the Neuroscience Realm with Enthralling Creativity
Human brains are naturally wired to form preferences based on how they process information. Every individual holds unique psychological perspectives, opinions, and viewpoints on various topics whether right or wrong is irrelevant. What matters is the underlying belief system that shapes their stance on a particular subject, object, or social issue.
The same principle applies to product preferences. Two individuals may choose the same type of product but from different brands, driven by how their minds interpret factors such as brand perception, product value, and emotional association. In today’s startup ecosystem, entrepreneurs operate in a landscape flooded with countless product choices. What sets successful ventures apart is their ability to create innovative and groundbreaking products that resonate with consumers’ needs and desires.
In this issue, ‘Most Influential Multidisciplinary Artists & Innovators in 2025,’ we are elated to feature Mihaela Pleșca, Founder and CEO of Neurodesign, whose creative vision exemplifies the power of innovation in shaping consumer experiences.
The Creative Stalwart
From an early age, Mihaela was captivated by product design, driven by a vision to enhance human life through creativity and innovation. This passion ultimately led her to establish Neurodesign in 2007, marking the realization of her childhood ambition. Her journey involved creating artwork and conducting experiments, earning international recognition, and laying the foundation for the distinct Neurodesign style.
On November 8, 2019, she formally registered her company to safeguard her intellectual property. The date holds symbolic significance, reflecting her formative years at the “Hans Mattis Teutsch” Fine Arts High School in Brașov, where she transitioned from 7th to 8th grade in the summer of 2007. Coincidentally, her company’s legal code was issued on November 7, the feast of St. Willibrord, the patron saint of epilepsy a nod to her focus on neurology and human well-being. The official registration on November 8, aligned with the feast of Michael the Archangel, symbolized her unwavering commitment to her design journey. The final documentation arrived on November 9, coinciding with the consecration of a basilica, mirroring the “Valea Cetății” (Fortress Valley) neighborhood where her office is located.
Neurodesign stands as a beacon of equality and ethics, promoting brands that drive positive societal impact. Beyond the Neurodesign style, the company also pioneers Resonance design, Onou style (moon), and Mihaela Pleșca’s signature style. Operating across medical, fashion, education, and entertainment sectors, Neurodesign remains dedicated to creating products that contribute to societal betterment.

The company applies fine art photography methodologies and original filmmaking techniques to push creative boundaries. Notably, it has developed nano-robot solutions for cancer treatment and an installation to conserve drinking water, which addressed the 2015 water crisis while meeting luxury tourism standards.
Neurodesign’s Axonic product line includes ethical, high-quality innovations such as a licensed advanced medical surgical facemask, which was a runner-up at the War on Virus global contest, cancer treatment solutions, and haute fashion accessories in the Resonance design style. Its educational contributions include a Romanian book on Neurodesign and Resonance design applied in UX/UI, a philosophical work on the existence of God based on scientific evidence, and culinary recipes.
In the creative arts, Neurodesign boasts a diverse music portfolio with cover songs and original compositions like “Brightest Skies”. Its video production includes short films, music videos, and social media content such as “The Lost Pollution in River”.
Neurodesign’s influence is inspiring the emergence of new professional domains, such as Neuroeconomy, Neurolegislation, Neurobranding, and Neurolaw, where neural models are redefining traditional industries. With its cutting-edge design styles and market-driven products, Neurodesign consistently exceeds industry demands, setting new benchmarks for innovation and creativity.
Tech-Driven Artistry
At Neurodesign, technology plays a pivotal role in driving innovation and creativity. During the International Emmy Awards JCSI Young Creatives global cinematography contest, Mihaela challenged conventional filmmaking by producing an entire short film using only a mobile phone. She recorded, edited, and created the soundtrack exclusively through mobile apps, applying Neurodesign concepts to deliver a high-quality production worthy of competing on a global stage.
Beyond filmmaking, Mihaela frequently leverages digital marketing tools and AI technology to develop more effective strategies. This experimentation with AI not only enhances results but also fuels the company’s ongoing research in creating advanced design styles, including Resonance, Onou, and Mihaela Pleșca styles.
Integrity and authenticity form the foundation of her client relationships. The company prioritizes honesty and professionalism, believing that genuine collaboration naturally fosters loyalty and trust. By consistently delivering innovative, high-quality solutions, Neurodesign demonstrates its commitment to excellence and client success.
Ethical Innovation
At its launch, Mihaela observed that Neurodesign proved to be both marketable and ethical, delivering impressive results through its innovative strategies. Her first client, a private S.A. hospital, offered a platform to apply digital marketing techniques on a low-budget trial. With just 100 Euros, she ran a campaign for the hospital’s da Vinci robotic surgery service, generating 10,000 Euros in return, significantly boosting the company’s credibility after more than a decade of research.
By enhancing the hospital’s local SEO, Mihaela achieved unprecedented conversions, outperforming its historical benchmarks. Even three years post-contract, the hospital’s public website and local SEO continued to lead in service-related search results.
Committed to elevating socially impactful brands, she navigated Google’s strict medical marketing policies to increase the hospital’s visibility. This success earned her a second Golden Grand Jury Trophy from the A’Design Award and Competition in Italy. She was also invited to judge the semi-final of the Interaction 20 UX design contest in Milan, further cementing Neurodesign’s influence in the global design landscape.
Resilient Innovation
Mihaela founded Neurodesign in Romania just a month before the pandemic lockdown, facing immediate challenges. With the economic downturn stalling her plans for a new research structure, she innovated a self-sufficient strategy, reducing reliance on external collaboration.
To protect her work from industry competition, she implemented a self-protection strategy in 2020. Despite the hurdles, she published a book in 2022, produced a short film, and conducted scientific research in Bucharest during eased restrictions.
Her professionalism as a design jury member earned her a Golden Trophy from the A’Design Award and Competition in Italy for three consecutive years, solidifying Neurodesign’s influence and accelerating her professional growth.
Creative Activism
Mihaela is committed to promoting brands and services that drive societal health and progress. Under her leadership, the company integrates creative activism into its mission, using music, film, and campaigns to inspire change.
The Neurodesign philosophy, likened to climbing a mountain, highlights the dedication and effort required to achieve meaningful goals, while also promoting nature conservation and ethical practices. This vision is reflected in short films like “A Lost Pollution in River,” which earned a nomination at the JCSI Young Creatives – International Emmy Awards.
Additionally, Neurodesign has launched campaigns against medical malpractice, advocating for the right to life and reinforcing its commitment to social impact.
Redefining Design Frontiers
Mihaela continuously researches and refines her existing design styles while exploring new creative directions. As the market gradually adopts the Neurodesign style, professionals worldwide are drawing inspiration from it, creating new domains by integrating ‘neuro’ concepts into traditional fields, such as Neuroeconomy, Neurolegislation, Neurobranding, and Neurolaw.
With the Resonance, Onou, and Mihaela Pleșca design styles still in their early adoption phase, Neurodesign’s products and services are already meeting and exceeding market demands, setting new benchmarks for innovation and creativity.
Digitally Integrated Solutions
Neurodesign leverages technology and creativity to deliver innovative solutions. During the International Emmy Awards JCSI Young Creatives contest, Mihaela produced a short film entirely on a mobile phone, applying Neurodesign concepts to achieve high production quality using only mobile apps.
Beyond filmmaking, Mihaela frequently utilizes digital marketing tools and experiments with AI technology to develop more effective strategies, fueling ongoing research into advanced design styles like Resonance, Onou, and Mihaela Pleșca.
With honesty and professionalism at its core, Neurodesign builds authentic client relationships, relying on innovative results and ethical practices to foster trust and loyalty proving that integrity and creativity drive lasting success.
Award-Winning Design Innovation
Mihaela’s innovative “brainding” method integrates Neurodesign with her ongoing research into four distinct design styles: Neurodesign, Resonance, Onou, and Mihaela Pleșca. This strategic approach has earned her 16 international awards, 6 national awards, 1 nomination, and 2 finalist recognitions in cinematography and fine art contests.
She also authored a Romanian book, “Neuro Design și Rezonanța în UI, UX design,” exploring two of her signature styles. Her efficient and ethical design methods continue to drive Neurodesign’s success and influence in the market.
Genuine Artist
Mihaela’s official music video for “Brightest Skies”, launched organically on social media in February, gained significant international recognition. Its inspirational impact resonated with renowned singers, showcasing the effectiveness of her Neurodesign strategy in the global music industry.
In addition to her creative ventures, she conducted groundbreaking medical research in January, delivering a last-minute innovation in cancer treatment. Her study introduced an innovative nutrition method for oncology patients and identified a scientific error in an existing nutritional cancer therapy—all completed in just 10 hours during an international scientific conference.
Through Neurodesign, she remains committed to driving innovation for the betterment of society.
